Training Course: Peace Education & Practical Tools for Everyday Youth Work

The course, Peace Education & Practical Tools for Everyday Youth Work, is designed for a variety of professionals working with young people in non-formal settings. The 2-days intensive program offers insights into how to promote peace, dialogue, and social cohesion in everyday youth work.

In a world marked by wars, polarization, and growing uncertainty, youth work plays a crucial role in fostering resilience, trust, and hope. Participants will explore what peace means today and how peace education can be integrated into everyday work with young people. The course combines hands-on workshops, lectures, and the sharing of good practices, providing both theoretical foundations and practical tools. Special emphasis is placed on nurturing young people’s belief in the future, encouraging nonviolent civic engagement, and addressing conflict and polarization through dialogical methods. By the end of the training, each participant will leave with new knowledge and skills in peace education, ideas for implementing the learning outcomes in their own work, and an international network of colleagues committed to building sustainable peace in youth work settings.

You are most welcome to Helsinki & Peace Education Institute to share a valuable peace learning process with us!
