In 2017, RKI started Peace Builder (Rauhanrakentajat) Network activities. The network provides trainings, workshops and mentoring in developing youth work for minority youth organizations. Our aim is to promote equity and peace building by offering our help.
Every year RKI provides training for peace promoting youth actors in designing and writing project funding applications. The aim of the project workshops is to help local organizations, young people and youth actors in applying funding for their projects that aim to provide opportunities to young people.
In the workshops, our professional staff helps with all the steps in the application process. You can participate in the workshop with only a project idea or, alternatively, with an almost finished project application. The idea is to jointly work on the ideas to transform them into concrete applications.
We also offer these workshops for organizations. These workshops can be arranged at our office or in other facilities at request. The timing of the project workshop is agreed on a case-by-case basis, and it can be arranged in the evenings as well.
We provide our expertise in different fields of youth work and organizational operations for those who need mentoring in these areas. Our professionals are willing to act as mentors and share their expertise for those who are seeking to promote peace in the world.
We can help in developing operations, planning projects and internationalization. Mentoring can be organized with RKI’s employees or volunteers. Our mentor can help for example with mapping regional cooperation possibilities, proofreading and commenting on project funding applications and planning international projects. This mentoring can take place at your organization’s premises.
